Route 66 – Acts

Continuing our journey through the 66 books of the Bible, today we stop for awhile in the first part of the book of Acts. Acts was authored by Luke, the only Gentile contributor to the New Testament. Acts is a historical book about the church and includes 80 geographical references and mentions 100+ people by name–once challenged by critics but each and every one has now been verified by archaeological evidence. Giving us a clear picture of what the early church “devoted themselves” to, we can learn what worked and has continue to work to share the gospel to the ends of the earth and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.
