This Thursday and Friday, April 18-19, is our Central California Church of the Nazarene District Assembly at the Olive Knolls Church of the Nazarene in Bakersfield. Thursday night is the retirement dinner for our District Superintendent and his wife, Rob & Debbie Songer. Friday’s “business” includes the election of a new District Superintendent to step into Rob’s role for the years to come. This Saturday, April 20, is the District’s Nazarene Missions International Convention. Our own NMI President, Lewanne Osborn, will be honored with a Distinguished Service Award.
