Seven Letters to Seven Churches – Philadelphia: The Faithful Church

The 6th church to receive a letter from Jesus is the church in Philadelphia. In bold contrast to the previous 2 churches, Philadelphia receives NO confrontation from Jesus – only commendation. Although they have “little strength,” this faithful church is praised by Jesus for their faithfulness and these believers are told that an “open door” of opportunity has been placed before them. What open doors has Jesus placed before you? Will you seize the moment and faithfully make the best of these opportunities?
