Hurricane Dorian Response

Hurricane Dorian caused major damage in the Bahamas. Recovery from this damage will take years. Early reports from the Bahamas indicate that five of the Nazarene churches there were impacted by the hurricane’s Catagory 5 winds or damaged by serious flooding, with four to five feet of water inundating most buildings. A Nazarene assessment team has already traveled to the Bahamas, bringing aid packages with food and hygiene items. While they are there, they will be able to determine the best response. Churches and individuals around the world can provide support through the 2019 Storm Response Fund. Donations will be used for immediate needs, such as water and food, as well as long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts.
