“Portraits of Christmas”-this third lesson of five lessons, focuses on “A Portrait of Joy: The Shepherds.” We may ask, “why the shepherds?” One reason God may have chosen the shepherds is that He wanted to demonstrate that His love does not discriminate on the basis of class, or wealth, or social status, or even religiosity. Luke 2:10 – “I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”
