A Question About Values

Pastor Mark continues the series from the Gospel of Matthew with this question from Jesus: “What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” Or, as Jesus reworded it later in these verses: “What would you give in exchange for your soul?” This question gets to the heart of what we value most: the world or God? The temporal or eternal? The here and now or the then and forever? Self or Jesus?
