Once again this year, we will be featuring the Clean Water Project this December as our mission outreach. Almost a billion people in our world are living without access to clean water making the leading cause of death worldwide to be illness due to waterborne disease, lack of sanitation, and poor hygiene practices. Every 15 seconds, a child dies due to water-related causes. Safe water is provided through resources including wells, cisterns, and filtration to promote ongoing health and disease-prevention through the promotion of safe sanitation and hygiene practices.
Projects are active in 11 countries: Haiti, Indian, Kenya, Liberia, Mexico, Mozambique, Myanmar, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Eswantini, and Zimbabwe.
Projects to date:
55 boreholes drilled & 573 biosand filters distributed
504 Household latrines & 4 public latrines constructed
60,000 + directly impacted by WASH services.
